THE MOUNTAIN BIKING SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE LOWTHER SHOW BEING HELD - keep checking the website for the re-scheduled date.  Normal Sunday run will take place instead.

On Sunday 14th August will be swapping the road bikes for the mountain variety. We will be heading to Askham fell over to Howtown to Pooley Bridge & back over Askham through Lowther Caravan Park to Penrith

All riders must be bring a spare tube & tools, this is a club ride out & not a coaching session!!!

Invite anyone you know they can be from other clubs or non club members although hopefully after the ride they would join  us.

Beacon Wheelers will be hosting a Grass meet on the 17th July 2011 the event will include the North West Region 800m championship. Entries for the fixed wheeled races should be sent to Bob McLean the race organiser.

Shona Mclean from British Cycling will be running go-ride racing grass track for novice riders aged 4-16 years old.
